- Washer and Dryers
- Stoves
- All Metallic items
- Bikes
- Water Heaters
- Metal car parts
NON-ACCEPTABLE ITEMS:
Glass of any kind including windows and glass tabletops
Doors
Mattresses
Electronics
Dishwashers
Plastic pails, buckets, large containers
Tires and rubber of any kind
NO TV’S
Jefferson Township is participating in the Trex Plastic Recycling Program. Plastic can be brought to the recycling building on Saturday’s from 9 am to 11:30 am
The Township has partnered with Trex, a leading manufacturer of composite
lumber, to recycle soft plastic material (i.e. plastic bags, store bags, ice bags, Ziploc & other re-closable bags, cereal box liners, case over-wrap, bread bags, newspaper sleeves, dry cleaning bags, bubble wrap, shrink wrap and plastic
e-commerce mailers) and keep the items out of landfills.
The Recycling Center is a drop off location and there is also a collection bin located in the meeting room of the Municipal Building.
The community participation in this program continues to be phenomenal !
